AFC West confrontations are always the most heated battles of the year for these teams, while, some players are probably sitting around laughing about the Browns coming in to challenge them this week. Do you think every player give 100 percent each and every game? What about the coaches scouring game film for an edge over their competition, they might be inclined to relax a bit this week after pasting the Chefs, or more likely looking ahead to the Indy and Green Bay games coming up. I'm not sure they do, they've also got to worry about staying healthy into the playoffs. I would venture a guess that Portis will be more inclined to run out of bounds this week rather than attack a defender head-on as he did last week. Not that subtle differences in attitude will make all that much of a difference, but they do exist. Look at what happened the following week after trouncing the Raiders and San Diego this year. Now they've got 2 routes in a row going for them, will they make it 3? Seems somewhat unlikely to me.
